These sessions are all about capturing the joy and delight as your baby dives into their very first birthday cake. From the first tentative taste to the joyful smears of icing, every moment is a precious memory in the making.

I provide a complete setup in my cozy home studio, ensuring a stress-free experience for you and your little one. Choose a color from the rainbow palette to set the theme for your session, and I'll create a setup that's both cute and classic. Before the cake comes out, we'll also capture some adorable baby portraits to cherish forever.

Just like with my newborn sessions, I encourage parents, siblings, and partners to join in the fun. After all, these moments are about celebrating the love and happiness your family shares as your little one reaches this exciting milestone. Equipped with everything needed to make your cake smash session unforgettable, I provide a delightful array of backdrops, bunting, balloons, outfits, and headwear. Each prop is carefully chosen to enhance the charm and sweetness of your session, ensuring that every detail reflects the joy of this special occasion.

With a focus on creating a stress-free and enjoyable experience, my home studio is the perfect backdrop for capturing the pure delight of your baby's first birthday milestone. So come on in, and let's create memories that will be treasured for a lifetime.

Bookings. Booking a Cake Smash Session with me is as easy as pie! Simply reach out to me via the Book Now form, noting your preferred session date. Once we've settled on a date and time that works for you, I’ll send you a booking confirmation email.

To secure your session, a small deposit is required, this ensures that your chosen date is reserved exclusively for you.

Your experience. During our initial consultation, we'll chat about your vision for the session, including your preferred colour theme. Whether you're envisioning a soft pastel palette or a vibrant burst of colour, I'll tailor the setup to your liking.

On the day of your Cake Smash Session, simply arrive at my home studio ready to have fun! I'll take care of the rest, providing a complete setup including backdrop, bunting, balloons, outfit, and headwear. You can then bathe your little one in my bath, washing away all evidence of the fun had before you head off for nap time.

After the session, I'll carefully curate and edit the best images, presenting you with a selection of timeless memories to cherish forever. So why wait? Let's start planning your little one's unforgettable Cake Smash Session today!

Tip. Leading up to the agreed session date, I recommend that you let your baby play with and explore the textures and tastes of cake & icing, lessening the chance of your little one rejecting the experience during the session.

Add On. I encourage family participation, these moments can be as much about celebrating the love and happiness your family shares as it is about your growing baby. Siblings and partners are welcome to join in the fun at an additional cost of $200. You will receive extra time in the studio and additional edited photo’s.

If you’d like to join in, please be sure to tick the ‘Studio Add On: Family/Sibling Portraits’. I recommend wearing neutral colours or coordinating with the colour theme we’ve chosen to create a harmonious look for your gallery.

What to wear. For those who wish to join in on the portraits, I recommend dressing in neutral colours or the specific colour theme we've chosen for the cake smash session. This ensures that everyone looks coordinated and enhances the overall aesthetic of the gallery.

Gallery Delivery. Within two weeks after your session, you'll receive an email with a secure link to your personalised online gallery. From there, you can conveniently view and download your images in both colour and black & white. Whether you want to share the gallery with loved ones or keep it private is entirely up to you—your memories, your choice!
